Tax payments of Armenian insurers to the state budget for 1Q2020 decreased by 15.6% y-o-y, to AMD 534.7 million (~EUR 0.97 million).

At the same time, according to the State Revenue Committee, 5 out of 6 acting insurance companies were included into the list of 1000 largest taxpayers of the country, ArmInfo reports.

The leader in tax payments among insurers is ROSGOSSTRAKH Armenia (ranks 163^rd vs 169^th place a year ago), tax payments to the state budget of which amounted to AMD 266.8 million. INGO Armenia ranks 319^th in the list (AMD 131.5 million), followed by NAIRI Insurance (AMD 46.4 million of tax payments), SIL Insurance and ARMENIA Insurance.

According to 1Q2020 results, RESO insurance company was not included into the list of the largest taxpayers of Armenia, however, a year ago it ranked 523^rd, ArmInfo noted.
