From the beginning of 2020 to May 31, 2021, payments of the Military Insurance Fund totaled to AMD 38.5 billion (~EUR 60.46 million*), ArmInfo reports with reference to the Fund's official statement.

At the same time, compulsory payments reached AMD 19.4 billion, of which AMD 9.1 billion were paid in 2020, and AMD 10.3 billion - paid from the beginning of 2021 to May 31, 2021.

"Since its establishment, the Military Insurance Fund has been tirelessly pursuing its mission of providing stable and equal compensation to the families of missing persons who died as a result of hostilities, as well as to servicemen with disabilities of categories 1 or 2", the Fund said. The resources of the Fund are formed by compulsory monthly payments in Armenia and Artsakh, as well as by voluntary donations.
