GREECE: 16 storms caused over EUR 511 million of insured losses from 2015 to 2023

GREECE: Four LoBs bring additional EUR 300 million in premiums
Last year by the end of November four insurance LoBs saw over EUR 300 million premium increase. Marianna Politopoulou, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NN Hellas, has decided to leave NN Group as of 30 November 2022, to pursue opportunities outside the company. "Marianna's successor will be announced in due course", as NN Group representatives informed in a statement.

Allianz to expand its presence in Greece by acquiring non-life insurer European Reliance
Allianz SE today announced it is entering into certain Share Purchase Agreements (SPAs) to acquire 72% of Greek insurer European Reliance General Insurance Company. The German insurer will pay EUR 7.80 per share or approximately EUR 207 million to acquire all the outstanding shares via the SPAs and a combined Voluntary Tender Offer.
Poland and Greece: NN Group obtains EC competition clearance to acquire MetLife's businesses
NN Group announces that it has obtained competition clearance from the European Commission to acquire MetLife's business activities in Poland and Greece. The intended acquisition was announced on 5 July 2021.
