The Executive Board of the Association of Hungarian Insurers (MABISZ) elected Dr. Csaba Kerékgyártó as the new Secretary General of the Association on September 16, 2026. He has been holding the position on an interim basis since July 1, 2026, following the retirement of Dr. Dániel Molnos.

“On behalf of myself and my colleagues, I would like to thank Dr. Dániel Molnos for everything he has done for the Hungarian insurance sector as the head of the administrative organization of MABISZ. I thank the Executive Board for the trust”, said Dr. Csaba Kerékgyártó.

The new Secretary General has identified implementation of MABISZ's strategy and modernization of the Association's organisation as a priority. "As Secretary General of the Association, my primary goal is to implement the strategy of MABISZ and to modernize and streamline our organization”, he emphasized.

He added that the Association should further shape the regulatory and economic environment of insurance in line with common social goals, thereby promoting the spread of insurance culture. "I consider the spread of insurance culture to be just as important in areas traditionally protected by insurance as in areas facing new challenges - such as agriculture - or in completely new areas such as cyber risks and new technologies", said the new Secretary General of MABISZ.
