Total GWP of insurance companies operating in Kosovo declined 2% year-over-year in January, to EUR 14.6 million, SeeNews writes citing the central bank data.

In January, the combined net profit of Kosovo insurers rose 5% year-over-year to EUR 3.4 million, according to the central bank.

The assets held by the insurance companies grew to EUR 363.9 million at the end of January, from EUR 341.5 million a year earlier, the source added.
