In 2026 (to date), 37 insurance claims have been registered in compulsory residential fire and natural disaster insurance, and insurance companies paid out KGS 10 million (~EUR 97 thousand), according to Baktygul Abdyzhaliev, Deputy Chairman of the State Insurance Organization, tazabek.kg reports.

According to the Deputy Chairman of the State Insurance Organization, 240 insurance claims were recorded in 2024, and paid claims totaled KGS 37 million. In 2025, there were 247 insurance claims, with KGS 32 million paid out.

It is noted that total amount of paid claims remains relatively small compared to the number of insured properties and the risk of natural disasters in the country.
