Global re/insurance broker Aon reported Q3 2023 total revenue worth USD 2.95 billion, up by 10% y-o-y, while total operating expenses increased from USD 2.10 billion to USD 2.26 billion.

Net income attributable to Aon shareholders increased 12% to USD 456 million, or USD 2.23 per share on a diluted basis, compared to USD 408 million, or USD 1.92 per share, in the prior year period.

By divisions, Commercial Risk Solutions generated revenue worth USD 1.58 billion, up by 7% y-o-y, while Reinsurance Solutions posted revenue worth USD 465 million, up by 17% y-o-y. Health Solutions revenue totaled USD 552 million (+12% y-o-y) while Wealth Solutions generated Q3 2023 revenue of USD 352 million (+8%).

In terms of expenses, of USD 2.26 billion, more than USD 1.68 billion was accounted by compensation and benefits, followed by other general expense (USD 300 million) and information technology (USD 135 million).
