This agreement covers issues of premium payments for compulsory state social insurance and pension payments in Belarus based on age, period of service, disability, loss of breadwinner and in Czech Republic (by age, disability, widow/widower, orphans). At the same time, insurance premiums will be paid in accordance with the legislation of the state in the territory of which citizens work. Each state will assign pensions for the working period in its territory and pay it to the territory of the citizens' current residence.
International agreements establishing the similar proportional principle of pension payment also exist between Belarus and Russia, Lithuania, Latvia, Azerbaijan. The same agreements were signed with Poland and Estonia, but haven't yet entered into force, BELTA adds.
