Insurance companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Serb Republic in the first eight months of 2026 generated GWP worth BAM 277.3 million (EUR 141.8 million euro), up 5.8% year-on-year, according to the entity's insurance regulator, SeeNews reports.

Non-life insurance increased by 6.2% year-on-year to BAM 234.5 million in the January-August period, while life insurance rose by 3.7%, reaching BAM 42.8 million, according to the entity’s insurance agency.

It is noted that the Serb Republic insurance agency's GWP report includes data on 23 insurance companies.

The Serb Republic is one of two entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other entity is the Federation.
