21 August 2025 — Marina MAGNAVAL

On August 7, 2025, the PZU SA Supervisory Board dismissed Andrzej Klesyk from the position of CEO and from the PZU SA Management Board. The Board also adopted a resolution temporarily entrusting Tomasz Tarkowski, a member of the company's Management Board, with the duties of CEO until the appointment of a CEO of PZU SA, the company announced.

At the same time, the Supervisory Board decided to initiate a recruitment process for the position of CEO of PZU SA. The resolutions took effect upon adoption.

It is noted that Andrzej Klesyk has led the PZU SA Management Board since January 27 of this year, first as a member of the company's Supervisory Board delegated to the Management Board to temporarily perform the duties of CEO, from February 27 of this year as a Management Board member acting CEO until obtaining the KNF's approval, and from July 2 of this year as CEO after obtaining the KNF's approval. During this period, he focused on implementing changes that built the PZU Group's value and were intended to prepare it, among other things, for active involvement in financing strategic investments for Poland. Andrzej Klesyk previously served as CEO of PZU from December 14, 2007, to December 8, 2015. He led the company during the ownership transition following the withdrawal of a strategic Dutch investor from the shareholding structure. He also prepared the public offering and listed PZU SA shares on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
