Lidija Božović has been appointed Executive Director of UNIQA’s non-life insurance company in Montenegro, the insurer announced.

Božović brings 18 years of insurance industry experience, with expertise spanning corporate business, underwriting, claims management, financial planning and market strategy. She has spent almost her entire professional career with UNIQA, progressing through several key positions within the company.

Prior to her appointment, she served as Director of Corporate and Affinity Business, responsible for developing relationships with corporate clients and designing insurance solutions tailored to their needs. She was also involved in the development of UNIQA’s corporate and affinity business across Southeastern Europe, working with markets throughout the region and sharing expertise and best practices.

In her new role, Božović will focus on the further growth of UNIQA’s non-life business in Montenegro, improving customer experience, developing innovative insurance solutions and strengthening the company’s market position.

Commenting on her appointment, Božović said that her ambition is to continue building a company that is a reliable partner for clients while providing employees with opportunities to develop their potential.

UNIQA said the appointment also reflects the Group’s commitment to developing female leadership and providing equal opportunities for advancement to senior management positions.
