Marsh, the world’s leading insurance broker and risk advisor and a business of Marsh McLennan announced the appointment of Andrew George as President of Marsh Specialty, effective immediately.

Marsh also announced that John Donnelly, President, Global Placement, will now report to Martin South, President and CEO, Marsh. Both he and Mr. George will join the Marsh Executive Committee.

According to the company’s press release, in this role, Mr. George has overall responsibility for Marsh Specialty’s global business, which includes the Aviation, Climate & Sustainability, Construction, Credit Specialties, Energy & Power, Financial and Professional Lines (FINPRO) – including Cyber, Marine & Cargo, and Private Equity, Mergers and Acquisitions (PEMA) practices.
