At the end of 2020, Vienna Insurance Group (VIG) has received three confirmations for its positive relationship with its employees: the group was included in Forbes' World's Best Employers list, it was named Diversity Leader awarded by the Financial Times and it also received the Best Recruiters' gold medal in the insurance sector for the fourth year in a row.

Forbes surveyed more than 160,000 employees from 58 countries around the world to evaluate their employer, being asked to assess their employer the probability that they would recommend working for their company to other people and also to recommend other employers. VIG was the only Austrian company in the financial services sector to position itself in the ranking this year.

The Financial Times and independent market research institute Statista named VIG as one of the "Financial Times Diversity Leaders 2021" - the first time when VIG is featured in the listing. The survey was conducted using online access panels which provided a representative sample of more than 100,000 employees from companies and institutions with more than 250 employees in Europe. The ranking acknowledges the VIG's achievements in promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

Best Recruiters - the largest annual recruitment study in the German-speaking countries - assesses the employer branding activities and recruitment operations of 529 Austrian companies based on 243 different criteria. This year was the fourth consecutive year in which VIG took first place in the insurance sector and the first time when VIG made into the overall top-10 companies ranking, being ranked on the 10^th place.
