The Estonian Insurance Association (EKsL) continued to operate in 2025 as the main representative and coordinating organization of the entire Estonian insurance sector, representing all insurers operating in the market, the Association said on its website.

“The role of the Estonian Insurance Association is to keep the entire sector functioning, reliable and transparent. 2025 shows that we are moving in the right direction. A consumer survey conducted in the spring of 2025 confirms that insurance in Estonia can be trusted. In Estonia, the level of trust in insurance is 75%, while the European average is around 50%”, commented Tuuli Pärenson, the chairwoman of the board of the Association, who took office in August 2025.

The Estonian Motor Insurance Fund (ELF) ensured consistent and reliable functioning of the motor insurance system in 2025. "2025 confirmed that LKF is moving in the right direction. The motor insurance system is financially strong, stable and functional even in changing circumstances”, said Tuuli Pärenson, the chairwoman of the board of LKF. “However, the most important thing is the customer's perspective. Last year, an average of 90 motor insurance cases occurred in Estonia per day”, she added.
