TAJIKISTAN: Tajikistan hosted the 21st meeting of the Interstate Coordination Council of the Heads of Insurance Supervisory Authorities of the CIS Member States

The 21st meeting of the Interstate Coordination Council of the Heads of Insurance Supervisory Authorities of the CIS Member States was held in Tajikistan on September 25, 2025, the CIS Executive Committee Press Service reported.

The meeting was attended by council members and representatives from the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, and the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as representatives of the CIS Executive Committee, the Eurasian Economic Commission, the CIS Basic Organization for the Training, Retraining, and Advanced Training of Insurance Personnel, insurance market participants, and representatives of various insurance associations. A representative of the Republic of Uzbekistan participated as an observer.

Murodalizoda Daler, Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan, expressed a positive view on the implementation of the Concept of the Republic of Tajikistan's CIS Presidency and noted the importance of interstate cooperation at the level of industry cooperation bodies.

During the meeting, participants presented information and exchanged opinions on the situation on the insurance markets and main areas of activity of the insurance supervisory authorities of the CIS member states. Following the meeting, agreements were reached to prepare information and an analytical review on the development of the insurance market in the CIS member states for the next period.

The next, 22nd meeting of the council is planned to be held in the third quarter of 2026 in the Republic of Armenia.

I.V. Smirnov, Director of the Insurance Market Department of the Bank of Russia, was elected Chairman of the Interstate Coordination Council of Heads of Insurance Supervisory Authorities of the CIS Member States for the next period.
