In just two weeks, insurance professionals, regulators, pension experts, reinsurers and brokers from 25 countries will gather in Baku for the Azerbaijan International Insurance Forum (AIIF) 2026, scheduled for 24-25 June at the Baku Marriott Hotel Boulevard.

Organized by the Azerbaijan Insurers Association, in cooperation with XPRIMM and with the support of local authorities and international partners, AIIF 2026 promises to be one of the region's most important insurance events, bringing together high-level speakers from Europe, Central Asia, the Turkic world and the Middle East to discuss the future of insurance, pensions and financial resilience.

The Forum will open with a strong official segment featuring representatives of the Azerbaijani government, parliament, central bank and insurance market institutions, highlighting the strategic role of insurance in supporting economic development and social protection.

Among the most anticipated topics on the agenda are the future of retirement protection and international pension models, market resilience in the face of natural catastrophe risks, reinsurance solutions, AI-driven insurance growth strategies, life and health insurance development, bancassurance, professional education and the evolving role of insurance intermediaries.

The event will also offer a unique regional perspective through a dedicated session on the insurance markets of the Turkic World, featuring market leaders from Türkiye, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Northern Cyprus, while CEOs of Azerbaijan's leading insurers will debate growth opportunities and challenges for the local market.

International expertise will be provided by representatives of organizations and companies including PensionsEurope, VIG Re, AM Best Europe, Allianz, Aon, the Chartered Insurance Institute, Dariger Online, T-Rupt and many others. Their contributions will address some of the industry's most pressing issues, from climate risks and catastrophe modelling to digital transformation, customer engagement and professional development.
