On May 29, 2025, a regular annual General Meeting of the Association of Bulgarian Insurers (ABZ) was held and the General Assembly accepted new members to the association and elected its Management Board.

Nikolay Stanchev, Chairman of the Management Board and CEO of Generali Insurance AD, was elected Chairman of the Management Board for a new term.

The new Management Board includes:

- Generali Insurance AD, represented by Nikolay Stanchev, Chairman of the Management Board of the company and CEO

- Bulstrad Vienna Insurance Group, represented by Plamen Shinov, member of the Board of Directors and CEO of the company

- Allianz Bulgaria Life AD, represented by Vesselin Angelov, member of the Board of Directors and CEO of Allianz Bulgaria

- Euroins Insurance Group, represented by Irena Lalova, member of the Board of Directors of Euroins AD

- Uniqa Life AD, represented by Ivana Dimova, member of the Board of Directors and CEO of Unika AD and Unika Life AD

- Groupama Insurance EAD, represented by Selin Bolar, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Groupama Insurance EAD and Groupama Life EAD

- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rumen Erusalimov, Dean of the Faculty of Finance, University of Applied Sciences.

By decision of the General Assembly, four insurance companies were accepted as new members of the Association of Bulgarian Insurers, ABZ added in the press release.
