According to the data of the Croatian Insurance Bureau by the end of February 2022, insurance companies collected GWP in the amount of HRK 2.24 billion (EUR 296 million), which is an increase of 6.29% compared to 2021.

In the non-life segment, which accounts for 79.55% of the market, GWP amounts to HRK 1.78 billion and is 9.40% higher y-o-y.

Life GWP amounted to HRK 458.32 million and decreased by 4.28%. In the segment's structure, the largest share belongs to classic Life Insurance (HRK 360.53 million, - 13.58% y-o-y).

There were 15 insurers registered in Croatia by the end of February.
