The move aligns with GrECo’s broader specialization strategy and marks the arrival of Marijan Dželalija and his team of seasoned experts, who will join the group starting December 2025.
The new office will operate as a Specialized Marine Insurance Branch within GrECo Specialty GmbH, which is led by Iva Rogović Lekić across 21 countries. “Croatia, a nation with a deep-rooted maritime heritage, fully deserves the first dedicated marine insurance branch. Marine risks are highly specific and require niche expertise. This represents a major step forward for GrECo,” said Rogović Lekić.
Operating under the brand name GrECo Marine, the branch will offer tailored insurance solutions for yachts, ports, freight forwarders, cargo vessels, and other specialized maritime risks. GrECo Marine will serve clients across Europe.
