With the expiration of the mandate of the previous presidency, the Hungarian Insurers Association (MABISZ) elected a new, eight-member Executive Board on March 12, 2025, the Association said on its website.

The newly established Executive Board elected its President and Vice President. Mihály Erdős, the previous president of the Association, the Chairman and CEO of Generali Insurance, earlier said he did not intend to run for re-election. He will be replaced by Bence Holló, the Chairman and CEO of NN Insurance, as the President of MABISZ. Péter Zatykó, the president and CEO of Alfa Vienna Insurance Group, became the Vice President after Bence Holló.

“I would like to thank Mihály Erdős for his work at the head of the Association for the past decade and a half, as Vice President and then as President, which was an exceptionally eventful and successful period in the history of the Hungarian insurance sector. I would like to thank the members for their trust and support, and my goal is to focus on the challenges ahead of us as President of the Hungarian Insurers Association in the coming years”, the new President, Bence Holló, Chairman and CEO of NN Insurance said after the election.
