MONTENEGRO: Lovcen Osiguranje net profit, operating revenue and GWP rise in 1H2025

Consolidated net profit of the Montenegro's top insurer Lovcen Osiguranje, part of Slovenia's Triglav Group, reached EUR 2.97 million in the first half of 2025, up from EUR 2.35 million a year earlier, SeeNews writes.

The company’s operating revenue increased to EUR 18.42 million in January-June from EUR 16.66 million in 1H2024, and GWP rose to EUR 18.10 million from EUR 16.38 million, as Lovcen Osiguranje said in its financial statement.

Operating expenses rose to EUR 11.38 million in the reporting period from EUR 10.09 million a year ago, while the gross operating profit increased to EUR 7.03 million from EUR 6.57 million.

The company's total assets grew to EUR 91.2 million at the end of June from EUR 82.1 million at the end of 2024.

It is noted that Lovcen was the largest insurer in terms of GWP among nine active insurance companies in Montenegro at the end of June, according to data from the country's insurance supervision agency ANO.
