According to the study, insurance coverage, which is not required by law, is most often purchased by people with children (71% of policy holders) and those from the 35-54 age group (73%). At the same time, 6% of respondents do not have any insurance and do not intend to insure themselves in the future. The same number of the survey participants do not have insurance contracts, but do not rule out buying them.
Most respondents (85%) agree with the statement that it is worth having insurance “just in case”, as a safeguard. Almost the same number consider insurance as a form of protection for loved ones, and for 82%, having insurance means maturity and responsibility. And 7% of respondents believe that there is no point in insuring themselves due to low probability of damage occurring and the high cost of insurance.
Gender-wise, 49% of the surveyed women believe that in the event of damage, insurers will try to avoid paying compensation, whereas 54% of men have the same opinion.
