In January-May of this year, total GWP of one of the market leaders, TAS Group, amounted to UAH 2,736.35 million (~EUR 58.52 million), which is 64.3% more y-o-y, Forinsurer reports.

In Motor Hull the company collected UAH 383.58 million over the five months of this year, which is 14.02% of the portfolio and is 20.9% more y-o-y.

The company’s GWP in MTPL increased by 2.76 times and reached UAH 1,424.28 million, which is 52.05% of the total GWP collected during the reporting period. The share of Green Card policies in the company's portfolio for the first five months was 19.35%: premiums reached UAH 529.54 million (+4.2%).

During the reporting period, TAS Group's paid claims amounted to UAH 1,020.24 million (~EUR 21.82 million), which is 29.9% more y-o-y. At the same time, over a quarter of the insurer's paid claims (26.37%) were for Motor Hull (UAH 269.03 million, +23%).

The share of MTPL in the company's paid claims was 34.21%: in MTPL the company paid out UAH 349 million, which is 29.3% more y-o-y. Paid claims under Green Card policies increased even more significantly (+42.8%) and amounted to 21.64% of the insurer's total paid claims for the reporting period.
