O‘ZBEKINVEST, one of the top three non-life insurance companies in Uzbekistan, held a series of talks with the heads of leading Nordic export credit agencies – Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO) in Copenhagen, Denmark; Exportkreditnämnden (EKN) in Stockholm, Sweden; and Finnvera in Helsinki, Finland, the insurer said on its website.

As a result of the meetings, cooperation agreements were signed with EIFO, EKN, and Finnvera, aimed at supporting national exporters and providing for joint efforts to expand access to the Danish, Swedish, and Finnish markets for Uzbek products.

An agreement was also reached on joint work to cover commercial and political risks in mutual foreign trade transactions, as well as on exchanging information and developing joint mechanisms to open new markets for exporters and investors from participating countries. A mechanism for joint insurance between public and private insurance companies was established. The parties identified measures for close cooperation on insurance coverage for foreign trade transactions, attracting foreign direct investment to Uzbekistan from the aforementioned countries, and continuing dialogue to explore new areas of trade and economic partnership.

O‘ZBEKINVEST also held a series of meetings with leading international insurance and brokerage companies – RiskPoint Group (Copenhagen), Howden Re (Stockholm), Säkra (Malmö), Aon (Helsinki) and others, during which promising areas of cooperation in commercial insurance were discussed, including within the framework of optional placements and niche risks, formats for the company's participation in international placements, and potential entry points for O‘ZBEKINVEST into the insurance market of Scandinavian and Northern European countries.
