GRAWE Carat, the leader of the insurance market in the Republic of Moldova, celebrated 20 years of successful activity. The anniversary event took place on Tuesday, 23 April at the Palace of the Republic in Chisinau and gathered representatives of the authorities of the Republic of Moldova, Austria and the EU, members of the management of the international concern GRAWE, customers, business partners, employees, and collaborators of the company.  

Veronica MALCOCI, Chairman of the Board of GRAWE Carat, thanked all those present, members of the Board of Directors of GRAWE Group Austria, officials, special guests, and partners. She continued: "20 years ago I was the first employee of the company. I would like to thank all those present and especially the customers who have trusted GRAWE. We would not have been able to grow without our customers who have given us their trust all these years."  

Opening the event, Mag. Dr. Othmar EDERER, Chairman of the Board of GRAWE Group, highlighted the significant role that Grawe Carat has played in the development of the insurance market in the Republic of Moldova.  

Next, the guests of honour took the floor:  
 

• Her Excellency, Mrs. Stella AVALLONE, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Austria to the Republic of Moldova
• His Excellency, Mr. Jānis MAŽEIKS, Ambassador and Head of the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Moldova 
• Mr. Wilhelm MOLTERER, Chairman of the GLOBSEC Board of Directors, former Vice Chancellor and Minister of Finance of Austria and former Vice President of the European Investment Bank  

Among the distinguished guests, we should note the presence at the event of GRAWE Austria board members, Dr. Philipp MERAN, Mag. Klaus SCHEITEGEL and Mr. Paul SWOBODA.   

The Austrian orchestra "Trachtenkapelle Flatz" delighted the audience with a diverse repertoire, from traditional songs to classical compositions, offering an unforgettable performance.  

During the ceremony, XPRIMM Group awarded GRAWE Carat with an anniversary diploma for celebrating 20 years of successful activity in the insurance market in the Republic of Moldova. This award marks an important moment in the company's history and recognizes its significant contribution to the development of the insurance sector in the country.
