ISA is continuously improving transparency in the operations, and this leads to constant growth of the number of complaints received. In 1H2022, ISA processed 65% more complaints compared to the same period last year. The agency received 135 complaints from policyholders about the services of insurance companies and brokerage companies in the first six months of this year.
In this period, the insureds mostly complained about the exercise of their rights to indemnification under motor liability and property insurance policies. In favor of the insureds, ISA resolved 21 complaints, which is 31% more y-o-y. As expected, the largest number (12 positively resolved complaints) was in motor liability insurance, the most massive class of insurance. Others were related to property, accident, private health insurance and life insurance.
The number of insured individuals who filed complaints increased by 58% to 106, while the number of legal entities who submitted complaints reached 22 and is 47% higher than a year ago.
