STATISTICS: Eurasia, 3Q2025: Paid claims growth significantly outpaces GWP growth

The regional insurance market in the Eurasian countries* rose by 21.17% in euros at the end of 2025, reaching EUR 51.43 billion, according to xprimm statistics.

As in the third quarter of the year, Kyrgyzstan remained the leader in GWP growth (+70.57%). Among the analyzed regional markets, Azerbaijan (-1.56%) recorded a negative result in euros, while Moldova saw the smallest growth y-o-y (less than 1%). Double-digit growth rates compared to 2024 were observed in many markets – Uzbekistan, Russia (its regional share reached almost 84%), Ukraine, Belarus, and Tajikistan.

Paid claims at the regional level increased by 34.18%, reaching EUR 30.59 billion. In terms of claims, as in the third quarter of the year, Tajikistan recorded rapid growth (+119.98%), with Kyrgyzstan ranking second. Georgia was the only market in the region (among analyzed markets) to see a decline in paid claims in euro last year.
