Montenegrin insurance market totaled EUR 71.63 million at the end of September 2020, 0.97% less y-o-y, accoring to the quarterly market data released by Insurance Supervision Agency.

Non-life GWP decreased by 5.53% y-o-y to EUR 57.24 million, while life segment increased by 22.58% y-o-y to EUR 14.38 million.

At the claims chapter, Montenegrin insurers paid claims worth EUR 25.24 million (-2.55% y-o-y) of which EUR 5.16 million - life indemnities and EUR 20.07 million - non-life claims.

GRAWE is the larges life insurer in the country (41.39% market share) followed by WIENER (27.21%), while the general insurance segment is led by LOVCEN (43.72%)and SAVA (16.80%).
