The upcoming Forum, supported by the All-Russian Union of Insurers (ARIA), will logically continue a detailed discussion of the most pressing issues previously raised at ARIA events in 2018: Insurance and Reinsurance International Congress in Moscow and Insurance International Conference in St. Petersburg.
Emphasis will be placed on consideration of draft basic standards for the activities of members of self-regulating organizations that unite insurance organizations and the "Marketplace" project developed for the insurance sector.
The program will also include other important topics of the current period:
- key issues of the insurance industry development;
- consumer rights protection;
- introduction of risk-based regulation;
- proportionate regulation issues;
- customer-oriented approach;
- life insurance development;
- electronic insurance development.
Officials of the Bank of Russia, the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation, the Eurasian Economic Commission, professional public organizations and unions, Russian and foreign insurance, reinsurance and brokerage companies, leading industry experts and professional mass-media representatives are invited to participate in the event.
The event will be held in the form of interactive communication between the legislative and executive authorities, professional public organizations, insurance organizations and policyholders. Participants will also be given the opportunity to hold personal meetings and negotiations.
